    • This filter from Fotodiox is a UV (0) filter, coated with multiple layers to prevent glare and lens protection. Helpful when photographing mountain and marine scenes, where increased haze threatens to make your photographs indistinct in color and clarity. UV (Haze) filters are wise investments. They help protect your camera from dust, moisture and scratches. If desired, they may be left on the lens at all times for protection. UV filters provide additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet (UV) light, which can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details. Ultraviolet filters allow you to correct for the UV effect to varying degrees. The lens is Super Multi-Coated to minimize reflection at the filters surface; therefore, reducing flare and ghosting.

    Lily ★★★★★

I was getting some glare in bright outdoor shots, but this multi-coated filter cut it out completely without adding any weird color cast. The slim ring doesn't block my wide-angle lens, and it threads on smoothly.

    James U. ★★★★★

The anodized aluminum ring threads on and off my lens with a smooth, confident feel, and the multi-coated glass has cut down on stray reflections noticeably. I've shot straight into a sunset with it on and the flare is minimal, which is exactly what I wanted for the price.

    Nicholas ★★★★★

I was surprised how much the multi-coating cuts down on reflections when shooting into bright windows. The glass itself feels sturdy and the ring screwed on smoothly.
