    • Fotodiox Pro 186mm Slim CPL Filter is a single threaded circular polarizer (CPL) filter made of optical glass and featuring a rotating ring to allow for light ray selection. Remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass. CPL Filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. CPL filters can also be used to saturate colors and to provide better contrast. The effect can be seen through the cameras viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter ring. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun or light source (approx. 0.3-3 stops). Typical applications include darkening skies and adding contrast to clouds, eliminating water reflection and window/glass/eyeglass reflection. CPL filters are specifically designed for use with auto-focus SLR cameras (They will also work on manual focus systems and video cameras without problems).

    Owen P. ★★★★★

The anodized aluminum ring feels rock-solid, and the threading on my WonderPana XL is buttery smooth—no cross-threading anxiety at all. The glass is perfectly clear, and I love that it's slim enough to stack without vignetting.

    Owen ★★★★★

The optical glass is noticeably clearer than cheaper filters I've used, and it threads onto the WonderPana XL without any binding or wobble. It cuts reflections on water shots beautifully, but it's so slim I can still use my lens hood.

    Richard ★★★★★

The anodized aluminum ring feels rock-solid, and the glass is crystal clear with zero color cast when I tested it on my wide-angle setup. Screwing it onto the WonderPana system took seconds, and the slim profile means no vignetting even at 16mm. This is exactly what I needed for my landscape work.
