The soft edge transition on this 0.6 ND filter is exactly what I needed for balancing bright skies with darker foregrounds in mountain landscapes—no harsh line in the frame. It slides smoothly into the holder and cuts exactly two stops without any color cast that I can see.

Shot some seascapes with this 0.6 soft edge and the transition between the bright sky and darker foreground looks perfectly natural. It slides into the holder smoothly, no light leaks at all.

I was worried the soft edge would look unnatural, but the transition between the dark and clear areas is incredibly smooth in my landscape shots. It solved harsh sky highlights without making the horizon line obvious.
